Four days of sanding, vacuuming, oiling, topcoating, scouring and topcoating again – oh and did I mention vacuuming? – and we now have glorious floorboards. A treat for barefeet definitely.

Really getting ready

All right. The site looked great with the grass cut. It looked even more gorgeous only days later when not even a strand of grass remained on the house site. Site excavation had been completed – good onya Tony!

Before you can cut a house site you need to be able to see where the site is, so in preparation for our earth-moving expert to get around easily John spent many a dusty hour on a borrowed tractor with slasher (thanks Davises!) to cut down some of the waist-high grass. Nice job!
